Mike Chitavi -President

Mike is the  owner and founder of Chicago based Alagna Consulting Inc. Before that he worked as a CPA in global fortune 500companies in the pharmaceutical and automotive industry.  Prior to that Mike spent 1993-2000 at KPMG in Kenya, SouthAfrica and Canada serving in different roles.

Mike has Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Kenyatta University (Nairobi Kenya), a diploma in computer audit from University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa) and is currently a part time MBA student at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. University

Patrick Chemngorem – Treasurer

 

Patrick Currently works in accountant for an Information Technology company. Prior to that he was a consultant at KPMG Chicago in Transaction Services department.

Patrick has a Master degree in Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne, Australia and Bachelors of Commerce (Accounting) from Kenyatta University.

Lina Cheruiyot - Secretary

Lina currently works for an Asset Management company in Client Service & Portfolio Administration. Before that, Lina worked at the Nairobi Stock Exchange as a Trading Associate and a Dividend & Bonus Claims officer.

Lina has a Masters degree in Finance from Wollongong University (Wollongong, Australia) and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Daystar University (Nairobi Kenya).
